The Compass family are big animal lovers and were horrified by the state in which the cats we found. They knew we would need all the help we could get, explained Ian du Randt, MD of Compass.

“We have been ongoing supporters of the Bloem SPCA as we know Reinet and her dedicated team do whatever they can to help animals in need,” he said.

Compass made a donation of R15 000 to assist with the medical costs and food for these rescue animals. According to Reinet, many of the cats had a severe infetious disease and were not separated from the healthy cats. Compass hopes that their donation will assist in treating the sic animals and that once their health is restored, they are adopted by caring members of the communtiy.

“We challenge all businesses to follow our lead and make a donation, and we also encourage anyone who can provide a loving home to come forward and adopt,” said Ian. Donations may be made online by clicking here.
